No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n<p>The wildfire started last Wednesday near the Buckthorn and Clover trails in the Live Oak Springs neighborhood of Boulevard. Driven by a sweltering heat wave, the fast-moving flames initially spread south of Interstate 8 and north of Campo Road, according to Cal Fire.<\/p>\n<p>Extreme heat persisted through Thursday, with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees.<\/p>\n<p>Traffic and local access were initially impacted on I-8, reducing the freeway to one lane in both directions.
