In the first incident, the suspect held an employee at knifepoint.<\/p>\n<p>Based on witness statements, surveillance video, physical evidence, and follow-up investigation, Robbery Investigators determined the two robberies were connected and identified the suspect as an adult male Oakland resident.<\/p>\n<p>On July 16, 2026, an Alameda County Judge issued a no-bail warrant for the suspect&#8217;s arrest for robbery, false imprisonment, and violation of probation.<\/p>\n<p>On July 17, 2026, Oakland Police Robbery Investigators located and safely arrested the suspect. The case has been referred to the Alameda County District Attorney&#8217;s Office for prosecution.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation remains active.
