On Wednesday afternoon, the San Francisco Giants<\/a> will finish their series with the Kansas City Royals<\/a> in Missouri.<\/p>\n

They will look to avoid a sweep after losing each of the first two games.<\/p>\n

Most recently, the Giants<\/a> lost by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Luis Arr\u00e1ez did not play in Tuesday\u2019s loss.<\/p>\n

Ahead of Wednesday\u2019s game, the Giants<\/a> have announced their starting lineup.<\/p>\n

The four-time MLB<\/a> All-Star comes into the day batting .323 with 122 hits, four home runs, 36 RBIs, 48 runs and eight stolen bases in 95 games.<\/p>\n

Arr\u00e1ez is in the middle of his first season in San Francisco (and made the 2026 All-Star Game).<\/p>\n

He has also spent time with the Minnesota Twins<\/a>, Miami Marlins and San Diego Padres<\/a> over eight seasons in the MLB.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old has been mentioned in a lot of trade rumors as of late.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hate seeing Luis Arraez go as much as anybody\u2026 it\u2019s gonna hurt but he could bring back something and you gotta do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Luis Arraez has been a fan favorite and one of the Giants\u2019 biggest bright spots, but @susanslusser<\/a> says it\u2019s time for him to go. <\/p>\n

The Giants<\/a> are currently the fourth-place team in the National League West with a 42-59 record in 101 games.<\/p>\n

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games (and are 20-34 in 54 games on the road).<\/p>\n

Following the Royals, the Giants will host the Los Angeles Angels<\/a> on Friday night.<\/p>\n
