SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — The wait is finally over.<\/p>\n

Jollibee says July 31 is the grand opening for its long-awaited restaurant near San Francisco’s Union Square.<\/p>\n

The restaurant has a cult-like following for its famous Filipino-style spaghetti and fried Chicken Joy.<\/p>\n

Jollibee has been trying to open the new location in the city for the past six years, but it faced delays with the city’s permitting process.<\/p>\n

This will be the only Jollibee in San Francisco. The location near Yerba Buena Gardens closed in 2011.<\/p>\n
