(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 An evacuation warning has been issued for an area north of Bakersfield due to a fire Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n<p>The Kern County Fire Department said a vegetation fire has broke out in the 24000 block of Round Mountain Road in Bakersfield. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/protect.genasys.com\/en?lat=35.5831&amp;lng=-118.8622&amp;z=10.3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">GenasysProtect <\/a>said an evacuation warning has been issued for KRN-600, an area north of Hart Park, at around 5:16 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"PHOTO:GenasysProtect\" class=\"ImageEmbed_image__qZBo_\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"364\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/d117623d-09e3-48aa-9a2f-01b5657be316-Screenshot20260722172315.jpg\" width=\"648\"\/><\/p>\n<p>It said it was due to the so-called \u201cSouth Fire.\u201d The warning said, \u201c You should prepare to leave. If you need additional time to evacuate, you should leave now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The fire can be seen on <a href=\"https:\/\/cameras.alertcalifornia.org\/?pos=35.5259_-118.8477_12&amp;id=Axis-Mebane1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">ALERTCalifornia <\/a>cameras.
