Kylie Cantrall loves having a day off in the Valley.<\/p>\n

Born and raised in the L.A. area, Cantrall has been working in entertainment since launching a YouTube channel at 7 years old. At 21, she\u2019s been rising through Hollywood\u2019s ranks, doing everything from animated voices to toplining live-action series, all while garnering millions of social media followers. These days, she\u2019s best known to the teen, tween and under set for her starmaking turn as \u201cRed\u201d in Disney\u2019s \u201cDescendants\u201d franchise, with \u201cDescendants: Wicked Wonderland,\u201d which dropped last week. Ever the multi-hyphenate, Cantrall is also hoping her new eight-song EP \u2014 the aptly-titled \u201cValley Girl Problems<\/a>,\u201d which she\u2019s been promoting with \u201cLife of a Valley Girl<\/a>\u201d travelogs on TikTok \u2014 will help further her career in mainstream pop music.<\/p>\n

Because of all that ambition, Cantrall is busy nearly all of the time. Except Sundays. \u201cSunday is my favorite day of the week,\u201d she says, \u201cand that\u2019s because of all the things I get to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s everything Cantrall would do on a sunny Sunday.<\/p>\n

9 a.m.: Sleep, then hike<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll grab a yogurt for breakfast and then head out the door, on my way to Fryman Canyon<\/a> for a little morning hike. That\u2019s my go-to spot because I like that you can actually control how hard you want the workout to be. It\u2019s not the craziest hike \u2014 it\u2019s actually pretty calm \u2014 but there are a couple of incline points. It really is the perfect place for when you want to meet up with a friend and get some steps in, but you also don\u2019t want to be dying while you\u2019re trying to have a conversation.<\/p>\n

Noon: Empanadas at the farmers market<\/p>\n

After a hike, I\u2019ll usually go to the Studio City Farmers Market. I\u2019ll get a little vanilla latte with oat milk, and I\u2019ll stop at this stand, King\u2019s Empanadas<\/a>, because they make my favorite empanada in L.A. I get the shredded chicken one, which is cute and tiny but really filling.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s another vendor there [Bautista Family Organic Ranch<\/a>] that sells dates and they\u2019re literally the best dates I\u2019ve ever had in my life. They\u2019re desserts, essentially. They\u2019re so caramelly and sweet.<\/p>\n

I always get berries at the market, too, like raspberries and blueberries. There\u2019s another vendor [Thyme for Honey<\/a>] who makes different flavors of granola and their coffee-flavored granola is so bomb that I\u2019ll always get that too.<\/p>\n

2 p.m.: Flea market finds<\/p>\n

I\u2019d probably meet up with a friend and go to the Silverlake Flea Market<\/a>, which I\u2019ve been really liking recently. It\u2019s a bit of a drive for me since I\u2019m in the Valley, though, like a cute 25 to 30 minutes.<\/p>\n

At the Silverlake Flea Market, I\u2019ve had a lot of luck with jewelry, like I\u2019ve found a lot of really great rings, necklaces, and earrings, or little random other things. I always end up picking up a crystal too. It\u2019s like an energy that just takes over me.<\/p>\n

I might also luck out and find a cute baby tee. They have really good vintage artist T-shirts and I got a cute Janet Jackson Rhythm Nation tour shirt last time I was there.<\/p>\n

4 p.m.: Matcha stop<\/p>\n

After the Silverlake Flea [which is held in Atwater Village], I\u2019ll go to a coffee shop that I\u2019m obsessed with. It\u2019s called Laveta<\/a>, and they have the best matcha I\u2019ve ever had. It\u2019s got a good cream top, and the shop has a cool vibe and ambience.<\/p>\n

6 p.m.: Fighting traffic with the top down<\/p>\n

I like to go and frolic every now and then just to get out of my Valley bubble, but after Laveta I\u2019d probably head home. I\u2019m thinking I\u2019d hit some 6 p.m. traffic, but I\u2019d be listening to music with the top down in my Mini Cooper. Maybe some Sade, maybe some Brandy. I might throw in a little Kim Petras if traffic is clear, and I\u2019m speeding down the freeway.<\/p>\n

7 p.m.: Laundry and \u201cThe Morning Show\u201d<\/p>\n

I\u2019d probably try to be home by 7 to do laundry. I\u2019d watch \u201cThe Morning Show,\u201d which is my favorite show right now. Maybe I\u2019d do a face mask too.<\/p>\n

For dinner, I\u2019ll go pick up some Katsuya<\/a> if I\u2019m feeling crazy. Their spot in the Valley has my favorite sushi, and I\u2019m a big sushi gal. I\u2019ll get the Robert roll and maybe even a miso soup if I\u2019m feeling crazy. I\u2019ve got to add crispy rice with spicy tuna too.<\/p>\n

After that, probably just more \u201cMorning Show\u201d and then I usually try to be in bed by 11 p.m.<\/p>\n
