PHOTO: KBAK\/KBFX<\/p>\n<p>Detectives are seeking information from anyone who knew Ada Moore, who lived in Santa Clarita.<\/p>\n<p>In a release, it said, \u201cEven seemingly minor details about her life, relationships, employment, routines, or acquaintances may provide valuable investigative leads.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"{p}A woman who was found dead in a grape vineyard near Mettler back in March 2011 has been identified after more than 12 years. PHOTO: KBAK\/KBFX<\/p>\n<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/decade-old-cold-case-solved-woman-found-dead-in-vineyard-in-2011-identified-through-dna-analysis-kern-county-coroners-office-arvin-mettler\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> coroner\u2019s office said <\/a>in July 2020, the coroner\u2019s office made the decision to seek a genealogy profile to help identify the initial Jane Doe 2011 with the help of the DNA Doe Project. The DNA Doe Project began building a family tree based on the genetic profile created. According to the coroner\u2019s report, in July 2023, the DNA Doe Project identified two potential family members who lived on the East Coast. They agreed to provide a DNA specimen for comparison. Ada Beth Kaplan Moore was then identified.<\/p>\n<p>The Kern County Sheriff\u2019s Office remains committed to seeking justice for victims and their families. \u201cYour information, no matter how small it may seem, could make a critical difference in this investigation,\u201d said in a release.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Thompson at (661) 861-3110.
