The 2026 Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards were presented tonight from the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles,\u00a0hosted by ABC7\u2019s Emmy Award-winning\u00a0entertainment reporter George Pennacchio.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s awards ceremony, produced by Bob Bain <\/a>and Bob Bain Productions, honored locally produced programs in the categories of Live and Breaking News Coverage, Crime and Social Issues, Culture and History, the Arts, Health and Science, Human Interest, Music, Sports, and the Environment.\u00a0<\/p>\n David Ono was the recipient of the 2026 Los Angeles Area Emmy Governors Award, recognizing his more than three decades of broadcasting and his passion for in-depth storytelling.
