Two suspects were arrested after a stolen vehicle pursuit ended in a crash and a brief foot chase into a Kohl\u2019s store, according to the Alhambra Police Department.<\/p>\n

Officers were patrolling the area of Atlantic Boulevard and Glendon Way when they spotted a stolen vehicle. The driver fled at a high rate of speed, weaving through traffic before crashing near Mission Road and Fremont Avenue.<\/p>\n
After the collision, both occupants abandoned the stolen vehicle and ran into a nearby Kohl\u2019s. Officers searched the store and found the suspects hiding in an emergency stairwell, where they were taken into custody without incident.<\/p>\n
Police said one of the suspects, a juvenile, remarked that his mother would not be able to pay for the damage caused by the traffic collision.<\/p>\n
Authorities identified one suspect as Elijah James, of Victorville. The second suspect is a male juvenile from Lancaster whose identity was not released because of his age. Both were arrested and booked into the Alhambra Police Department Jail.<\/p>\n
The Alhambra Police Department has not released additional information regarding the charges.<\/p>\n
