More than 13,000 people celebrated Mexico\u2019s participation in the World Cup at Casa M\u00e9xico Los Angeles 2026, presented by the Consulate General of Mexico in Los Angeles, LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, and Telemundo 52. The official hospitality venue of the government of Mexico concluded its six-week run on July 19.<\/p>\n
Starting on June 11, Casa M\u00e9xico became one of Los Angeles\u2019 premier destinations for fans following the Mexican National Team throughout the tournament. Free tickets for each of the five free live viewing parties sold out within days \u2014 and later, within minutes \u2014 reflecting the enthusiasm of the community.<\/p>\n
Hosted at LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, the Downtown Los Angeles museum dedicated to telling the story of Mexicans, Mexican Americans and the Latino experience in Los Angeles, Casa M\u00e9xico drew more than 10,000 attendees to its five Live Viewing Parties. Following Mexico\u2019s elimination from the tournament, nearly 2,000 additional guests participated in two closing celebrations: a Summer of Salsa concert featuring La Verdad and Super DJ Robby and a Mariachi Family Festival showcasing performances by three local student ensembles.<\/p>\n

This marks the first time Casa M\u00e9xico, the government of Mexico\u2019s official World Cup hospitality venue, has been presented in Los Angeles, the city with the largest population of people of Mexican origin outside of Mexico.<\/p>\n
Casa M\u00e9xico offered visitors an immersive cultural experience celebrating the richness and diversity of Mexico. Through art exhibitions, live music and dance performances, regional cuisine and family-friendly activities, the program showcased the traditions and cultural heritage of different Mexican states while bringing communities together through the language of soccer.<\/p>\n
\u201cCasa M\u00e9xico welcomed not only Mexican and Mexican American communities from across the Los Angeles region but also visitors from Latino, Asian, Black and Afro-Latino communities who came together to celebrate the World Cup alongside Mexico\u2019s supporters,\u201d said Tracy Serrano, Interim CEO of LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes. \u201cBringing together such a diverse audience is a remarkable achievement for our institution, especially as we celebrate our 15th anniversary.\u201d<\/p>\n
While attending Casa M\u00e9xico, approximately another 1,000 visitors also explored LA Plaza\u2019s galleries, including the special exhibitions \u201cGoles de Pintura,\u201d by Mexican artist Jazzamoart, and \u201cTejiendo Redes: Uniendo comunidades a trav\u00e9s del arte y el f\u00fatbol,\u201d by Betsabe\u00e9 Romero. Both are inspired by the passion, history and cultural significance of soccer.<\/p>\n
Visitors also experienced LA Plaza\u2019s permanent exhibitions, \u201cL.A. Starts Here!\u201d and \u201cCalle Principal: Mi M\u00e9xico en Los \u00c1ngeles,\u201d which explore the history and contributions of Mexicans and Mexican Americans in the founding and development of Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

As the host state of Casa M\u00e9xico, Nayarit showcased its rich cultural heritage, vibrant traditions and natural beauty through performances by its folkloric ballet and the participation of Riviera Nayarit, one of Mexico\u2019s premier tourism destinations.<\/p>\n
