International artist Kyle Holbrook and DEBRA of America unveiled two new \u201ccollaborative\u201d murals at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Images of the artwork, painted at the\u00a0 DEBRA of America National Conference, will be auctioned to benefit the organization.<\/p>\n

DEBRA is a national nonprofit effort dedicated to improving the lives of people with\u00a0 Epidermolysis Bullosa.<\/p>\n

EB is a rare connective tissue disorder with many genetic and symptomatic variations, according to the organization\u2019s website. All forms share the prominent symptom of extremely fragile skin that blisters and tears with any friction, organizers said.<\/p>\n

Just like a butterfly\u2019s delicate wings, EB patients\u2019 skin is delicate and requires consistent care and protection.<\/p>\n

DEBRA campaigns often feature community members and \u201cEB Heroes\u201d posing in front of butterfly wing murals to raise awareness.<\/p>\n
