(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 The Kern County Coroner\u2019s Office released the identity of the<a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/forrest-street-shooting-suspect-arrested-in-las-vegas-bakersfield-pd-metro-police-nevada-h-street-downtown-california-kern-county\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> man who died nearly a month after being shot on Forrest Street <\/a>as 36-year-old Isaac Garcia of Bakersfield.<\/p>\n<p>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/forrest-street-shooting-suspect-arrested-in-las-vegas-bakersfield-pd-metro-police-nevada-h-street-downtown-california-kern-county\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">One in critical condition after shooting near downtown Bakersfield<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Bakersfield Police Department said on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at around 5:45 p.m., there was a shooting on Forrest Street, near H Street.
