Robbery suspect shot by deputies in La Riviera neighborhood, Sacramento sheriff says<\/p>\n

A robbery suspect was shot by deputies in the La Riviera area of Sacramento County on Friday, and was taken to the hospital, the sheriff’s office said. <\/p>\n

The shooting was reported near Barracuda Way and Salmon Falls Drive. <\/p>\n

All deputies are OK, the sheriff’s office said. It was not immediately clear how many deputies were involved, who fired their weapons, and the extent of the suspect’s injuries. <\/p>\n

Neighbors told KCRA 3’s Denzen Cortez they heard two shots being fired. Ring surveillance footage shared with KCRA 3 showed a person on a bike being chased by at least two patrol cars with sirens blaring. <\/p>\n

KCRA 3 is trying to learn more and details could change as more information becomes available.<\/p>\n
