Diane Farr is saying farewell to Los Angeles after 30 years.<\/p>\n

The \u201cFire Country\u201d star posted a video on Instagram<\/a> to mark her last day in the city, accompanied by a caption about her time there.<\/p>\n

\u201cLast Day in LA. I\u2019ve lived here 30 years. Exactly 30 years and more importantly- I chose LA.<\/p>\n

I wasn\u2019t born here, I didn\u2019t go to school here – I just had a chance for representation as an actor and I moved out of NYC the summer I was 26,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cI came like most of the people I love in Hollywoodland – none of which I saw this week bc moving sucks. (You\u2019re never getting rid of me in your life. I just had to pack for 4 people – going to 6 different locations – in 3 different trucks all leaving while I\u2019m back at work tomorrow.)\u201d<\/p>\n

Farr celebrated that she \u201ccame here chasing a dream\u201d and is \u201cstill shocked\u201d it worked. She also gushed about raising three kids (from her ex-husband Seung Yong Chung) \u201cin the sun\u201d and the home she created.<\/p>\n

\u201cPinch me I\u2019m overwhelmed by the blessings and hope, really hope I gave enough back. LA will always be where my family is from,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

The \u201cRescue Me\u201d actress hinted that the move wouldn\u2019t be permanent, saying she is on \u201chiatus\u201d from Los Angeles, though she noted \u201cwe are letting the house go.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also reassured fans in the comments that she is not leaving \u201cFire Rescue.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd no @firesheriffcbs fans I\u2019m not leaving #firecountry. One of the places I live is to film in #Vancouver for the fifth year. We are on episode 4 of Season 5 right now,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

Farr has played Sharon Leone on the CBS drama since 2022.<\/p>\n
