{"id":420922,"date":"2026-08-01T15:58:23","date_gmt":"2026-08-01T15:58:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/420922\/"},"modified":"2026-08-01T15:58:23","modified_gmt":"2026-08-01T15:58:23","slug":"man-charged-with-beating-robbing-15-year-old-boy-in-oakland-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/420922\/","title":{"rendered":"Man charged with beating, robbing 15-year-old boy in Oakland"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OAKLAND \u2014 An 18-year-old man is facing felony charges in connection with the beating and robbery of a 15-year-old boy at an Oakland apartment complex in late June, prosecutors said.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, the Alameda County District Attorney\u2019s Office announced it had charged Jaeden Roach with assault with a firearm, robbery and felony child endangerment.<\/p>\n<p>The incident happened around 3:15 p.m. on June 25 in the 3400 block of 68th Avenue, prosecutors said.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors said Roach and four other suspects hid behind an apartment complex and waited for the victim, who was attacked and beaten with handguns when he arrived.<\/p>\n<p>The victim suffered serious injuries, prosecutors said.<\/p>\n<p>Roach is scheduled to enter a plea Monday at the Wiley W.
