(KFSN) \u2014\u00a0As we prepare for a potential heat wave across the Central Valley, city leaders in Clovis announced that the Sierra Vista Mall is no longer a designated cooling center.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The change comes after reports of broken air conditioning units at the shopping center.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Instead, the city designated the Clovis Community Center as a new place for residents to cool off.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">It\u2019s located at Fourth Street near Veterans Parkway in Clovis.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The community center will be open from 8 am until 6 pm on days that reach 105 degrees or greater.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">You can use the Clovis Transit System to get there at no cost.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"CLOVIS, Calif.
