What should have been a celebration turned into a nightmare for a family who attended last week\u2019s Vans Warped Tour in Long Beach. \u00a0<\/p>\n

David Granado Jr., a native of San Jose, attended the event with his girlfriend, brother and friends on July 26, according to a verified GoFundMe<\/a>. It was on that day when David suffered a \u201ctraumatic and ultimately fatal\u201d brain injury, the fundraiser states. \u00a0<\/p>\n

The exact cause has not been determined; the GoFundMe indicates Granado\u2019s family is still trying to \u201cpiece together the timeline of what exactly happened to Dave\u201d in the hours before he was hospitalized.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Loved ones have started the GoFundMe to help with \u201cunexpected logistics and cost of medical bills and final arrangements.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWith emergency surgery and multiple days of life support, the family is not sure what the final cost will be. We hope we can at least partially help relieve some of the financial burden as they deal with this devastating situation,\u201d the fundraiser concludes. \u00a0<\/p>\n

The Warped Tour is a touring rock music festival that is hosted in cities around the U.S. and Canada and is sponsored by the skate fashion company Vans.<\/p>\n
