(KFSN) &#8212; Several people are without a home following a fire in a two-story condominium in Northwest Fresno on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">According to Fresno Fire, the fire broke out just before 11 a.m. at the Laguna Falls Condominiums off Ashlan Avenue, west of West Avenue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from multiple units in the building.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Crews confirmed that all the residents were safely evacuated before extinguishing the flames.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">42 firefighters were called in to put out the fire due to the high temperatures and size of the fire.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Five units were damaged, displacing multiple residents.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Firefighters rescued several pets, including cats and dogs; however, one cat did not survive.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">The cause of the fire remains under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 KFSN-TV.
