(KGET) \u2014 The City of Shafter will be hosting the grand opening and ribbon cutting for the new aquatics facility on Saturday. <\/p>\n<p>Following the ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 8, the community is invited to swim for free in the new pool from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The ribbon cutting will be held at 9 a.m. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kget.com\/plus\/\" class=\"promo-link__link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n\t\tWatch 17 News, After Sunrise and more local news free on your smart TV.
