(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 The Kern County Coroner\u2019s Office has identified a man who was found dead in a canal near the Buena Vista Golf Course as 50-year-old Jonathan Philip Roberts of Bakersfield.<\/p>\n<p>The coroner\u2019s report said Roberts was found on August 4, at around 8:06 p.m., in the water canal on Golf Course Road and Mifflin Lane in Taft.<\/p>\n<p>The report said he died at the scene.
