Comedian and podcaster Christina Pazsitzky just dropped the \u201cdivorce episode<\/a>\u201d of \u201cYour Mom\u2019s House<\/a>\u201d and addressed her split from Tom Segura after 20 years as a couple: \u201cMom\u2019s drinkin\u2019 and smokin\u2019 on this episode.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pazsitzky told guest host Duncan Trussell that she wanted to formally address the news after word got out that the comedy power couple had separated this year. \u201cYes, Tom and I are divorcing, and it is extremely sad,\u201d she said, beginning to cry. <\/p>\n

\u201cSorry, I didn\u2019t want to cry this soon. It is very sad. That being said, we have tried to work it out for several years for the sake of our children and our family, and we gave it all we could, but we just couldn\u2019t work things out. We are no longer a couple.\u201d <\/p>\n

Pazsitzky said the former couple were trying to make their two children a priority as they navigated the split. <\/p>\n

\u201cLook, we had 20 amazing years together, and that\u2019s a really good run, I think, in a marriage,\u201d she said, noting that the two had built their comedy careers, podcasting empire and a family over the course of their relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to address the audience specifically because we\u2019ve been through a lot together \u2014 for those of you that have listened to us since the very beginning \u2014 we\u2019ve been through Tom and I getting married and living in Silver Lake and being two broke comics. We\u2019ve been through births and deaths, tragic accidents, cancer, COVID, all the things, and I want you to know that I\u2019m still your mom, and I\u2019m still here, and we will survive.\u201d <\/p>\n

The comedian reassured listeners that she and Segura were amicable and that there was no need to take sides. \u201cThis is not an ugly divorce,\u201d she continued. \u201cLike, we\u2019re cool, dude.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two became a couple in their 20s while working as stand-ups on the Los Angeles comedy scene. Pazsitzky said the two were \u201ckids\u201d and that people change over the course of multiple decades. She looked back on the \u201cwild ride\u201d of being poor together, living in Silver Lake and getting married with $200 between the two of them. <\/p>\n
