<\/p>\nFRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) \u2014 The family of a missing Fresno woman says they feared foul play after she vanished Tuesday afternoon, before the Fresno Police Department confirmed the case had become a death investigation.<\/p>\n

FOX26 spoke exclusively with the woman’s mother, Liberty Lopez, and other family members, who identified her as Alison Riley, though they said her legal name is Tatiana McIntyre.<\/p>\n
According to Lopez, Riley was last heard from around 12:10 p.m. Wednesday after going to her ex-boyfriend’s home to visit their two children.<\/p>\n
Family members said her phone last pinged at the home around 1 p.m. before going offline.<\/p>\n

Rental car located<\/p>\n
Family says Riley was driving a Zipcar rental. GPS data led relatives to an orchard near McKinley and Academy, where they say the vehicle was found abandoned with her belongings still inside. Deputies later confiscated the vehicle.<\/p>\n
Wednesday Evening <\/p>\n
Family members say investigators served a search warrant at Riley’s ex-boyfriend’s home on Grove Avenue, where FOX26 observed a large law enforcement presence. Lopez said homicide detectives were at the scene while family members waited outside for answers.<\/p>\n
“I’ve been here since 5 a.m., waiting to hear anything about my daughter,” Lopez told FOX26. “We’re just hoping for the best.”<\/p>\n
Lopez said Riley had previously told her about alleged domestic violence involving the children’s father, including incidents in which she claimed he choked her and prevented her from leaving the home. Lopez said those allegations had previously been reported to law enforcement.<\/p>\n
Family members also told FOX26 the ex-boyfriend has not responded to calls from relatives and, they believe, has not been at the home since Riley disappeared. <\/p>\n
“We just want her home,” Lopez said. “We want to know where she’s at.”<\/p>\n
The family said they fear foul play but are still hoping Riley is found alive.<\/p>\n
“We want to see her alive,” Lopez said.<\/p>\n
