UPDATE (4:25 P.M.): According to the CHP’s website, the fire jumped to the other side of the interstate. All southbound traffic is being diverted off at Frazier Mountain Park.<\/p>\n

UPDATE (4 P.M.): According to the CHP’s Traffic Incident Information Page, northbound Interstate 5 near Smokey Bear Road is closed. Traffic is being diverted back to southbound. The SignAlert has been issued for one hour, according to CHP.<\/p>\n

Evacuation warnings have been issued due to a fire burning off Interstate 5 near Gorman. <\/p>\n

CalFire <\/a>said the so-called Ridge Fire is burning east of Interstate 5, near Gorman School Road in Gorman.<\/p>\n

It has burned 100 acres, according to CalFire. <\/p>\n

The fire is south of the ongoing Buzzard Fire.<\/a><\/p>\n
