Walnut Avenue near Harvard Road, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fire.ca.gov\/incidents\/2026\/8\/8\/walnut-fire\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">according to Cal Fire<\/a>. As of 4 p.m., the fire had burned about 20 acres of brush.<\/p>\n<p>Burbank city officials said that Verdugo Fire Academy crews were battling the blaze and had set up their center of operations in the Castaway Restaurant parking lot.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Evacuation orders are in place for DeBell Restaurant and Golf Course and Stough Canyon Nature Center,&#8221; Burbank city leaders said. &#8220;Hiking trails closed until further notice.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>They also said that the scheduled Starlight Bowl concert was canceled.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Aerial footage showed helicopters dousing the hillside with water as they worked to mitigate the fire&#8217;s spread.<\/p>\n<p>This is a developing story.
