(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 Heatwave #3 has been the hottest of 2026. Bakersfield peaked this last Tuesday at 109, which was a record high. It tied the record set back in 1901. Plus, we have now had four days at or above 105 degrees.<\/p>\n<p>Heat stress levels will be at their highest this summer for the weekend. Moisture out of Arizona will keep dew point levels high. <\/p>\n<p>Plus, temperatures will range from 105-110 for the South Valley, mid to upper 90s in the Kern County mountains, Kern River valley reaches the century marker, and the Kern County desert tops out around 108-116. <\/p>\n<p>Stay in the shade, keep hydrated, and please watch your children around water.
