LONG BEACH \u2013 The Long Beach Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect wanted in connection with a string of burglaries over the last week.<\/p>\n
LBPD detectives have been investigating a series of incidents, which they determined follow similar circumstances and have a similar suspect description. In each of the incidents, a male adult suspect shattered a glass window of the business or a vehicle and stole miscellaneous items.<\/p>\n
Detectives believe the suspect is responsible for incidents at the following locations:<\/p>\n
10\/26\/2025 \u2013 420 Cherry Avenue \u2013 Commercial Burglary<\/p>\n
10\/26\/2025 \u2013 2201 Lakewood Boulevard\u2013 Commercial Burglary<\/p>\n
10\/28\/2025 \u2013 913 E Wardlow Road\u2013 Commercial Burglary<\/p>\n
11\/1\/2025 \u2013 2211 E 7th\u202fStreet\u2013 Commercial Burglary<\/p>\n
11\/2\/2025 \u2013 2841 E Anaheim\u202fStreet\u2013 Commercial Burglary<\/p>\n
11\/2\/2025 \u2013 2700 block of Spaulding Street\u2013 Vehicle Burglary<\/p>\n
On Nov. 3, 2025 at approximately 10:03 a.m., while patrolling the area of Anaheim Street and Dawson Avenue, officers saw the suspect and recognized him from security footage as the burglary series suspect. They safely arrested him.<\/p>\n
The suspect was identified as Raymond Edward Billingsly, a 34-year-old resident of Long Beach, who was booked for burglary, possession of burglary tools, and a probation violation.<\/p>\n
He is currently being held without bail for the probation violation.<\/p>\n
These cases will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney\u2019s Office for felony filing consideration.<\/p>\n
