{"id":428109,"date":"2026-08-09T14:04:56","date_gmt":"2026-08-09T14:04:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/428109\/"},"modified":"2026-08-09T14:04:56","modified_gmt":"2026-08-09T14:04:56","slug":"emergency-roadwork-to-cause-delays-on-hwy-46-in-slo-county","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/428109\/","title":{"rendered":"Emergency roadwork to cause delays on Hwy. 46 in SLO County"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Emergency road repairs will cause delays for nighttime drivers traveling both ways on Highway 46, east of the Cholame Y toward Bakersfield, starting on Sunday, Aug. 9.<\/p>\n<p>According to a Caltrans news release, one-way reversing traffic control will be in effect along Highway 46 on Sunday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and Monday through Thursday nights from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. for emergency maintenance work.<\/p>\n<p>Travelers should expect delays of 10 minutes and were advised to allow extra time through the area.
