(KFSN) &#8212; Hundreds of residents in Central Fresno are currently experiencing a power outage in triple-digit temperatures.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">According to the PG&amp;E website, the unplanned outage began just before 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, affecting 2,441 customers in Fresno County.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">In the Fresno area, over 1,500 were impacted in the Mayfair area near Cedar Avenue, stretching past Blackstone Avenue between Shields and McKinley Avenues.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">As of 9:30 p.m. Sunday, 821 residents remain without power.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">A PG&amp;E crew is working to restore power to the affected homes and businesses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Power is expected to be restored by 10:30 p.m. Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">This comes as the Central Valley remains under an active Extreme Heat Warning.
