(FOX26) \u2014 Fresno voters could potentially vote between two different transportation tax measures in November.<\/p>\n<p>The countywide &#8220;Better Roads, Safe Streets&#8221; measure is intended to replace Measure C, which expires next year.<\/p>\n<p>But its path to the November ballot has been caught up in a fight between the county and the state.<\/p>\n<p>So, Dyer says the city submitted its own tax as a backup to keep transportation funding in place if &#8220;better roads&#8221; doesn&#8217;t survive a legal challenge.<\/p>\n<p>Dyer does suggest that voters vote yes on both measures.<\/p>\n<p>The city measure is written to end once the countywide tax takes effect.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"FRESNO, Calif.
