(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/crash-closes-westbound-24th-street\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">T<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/crash-closes-westbound-24th-street\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">he man killed Monday morning after being struck by multiple vehicles on the 24th Street bridge<\/a> was identified as 48-year-old Antoine Cobbins of Bakersfield.<\/p>\n<p>The Kern County coroner said that Cobbins was found dead at the scene on August 10, 2026, at approximately 5:35 a.m. by Bakersfield police.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"A man was killed Monday morning after being struck by multiple vehicles on 24th Street, several of which drove away from the scene. PHOTO: KBAK\/KBFX<\/p>\n<p>Officers were called early Monday to the 24th Street bridge over the Kern River regarding a report of a pedestrian down in the road. <\/p>\n<p>Cobbins was found after he had been struck by multiple vehicles, said officials.
