(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 A routine home visit in southeast Bakersfield ended with an arrest after probation officers found a loaded revolver and ammunition, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, August 10, 2026, officers assigned to the Kern County Probation Department\u2019s AB109 Division, Mandatory Supervision Unit, conducted a home call in the 500 block of East Fairview Drive. <\/p>\n<p>There, officers contacted Daniel Alarcon, who is on mandatory supervision and felony probation.<\/p>\n<p>During a search of the home, officers said they found a loaded .31-caliber revolver and ammunition. <\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Photo: Kern County Probation Department\" class=\"ImageEmbed_image__qZBo_\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"365\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/f79dbe98-245f-44fa-9871-995a0f7ace97-KCPD.png\" width=\"648\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Photo: Kern County Probation Department<\/p>\n<p>Alarcon was subsequently arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, as well as for allegedly violating the terms of his mandatory supervision and felony probation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
