A man riding an e-bike was fatally struck in Santa Ana on Tuesday night.\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to Santa Ana Police Department officers, the collision happened at around 6 p.m. near the intersection of N. Santiago Street and Santa Ana Boulevard.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Officers arrived at the scene and found the victim, who hasn’t yet been identified, lying in the street. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police said that the driver involved in the collision remained at the scene to cooperate with their investigation.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The cause of the crash is unknown.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Video from the scene posted to the Citizen App showed a silver Mercedes-Benz stopped in the middle of the intersection.
