United Airlines is uniting the East and West Coast with its newest route. <\/p>\n
The airline announced plans to offer nonstop service between West Palm Beach, Fla., and San Francisco. <\/p>\n
Palm Beach\u2019s newly christened President Donald J. Trump International Airport announced the new route in an Instagram post<\/a> on Friday, sharing that the seasonal, Saturday-only flight service will begin November 7.<\/p>\n United Airlines announced plans to offer nonstop service between West Palm Beach, Fla., and San Francisco. Trump International Airport\u00a0<\/a>in early July with Trump\u2019s own Boeing 757 making the first landing.<\/p>\n The 89-year-old hub, located five miles west of Trump\u2019s Mar-a-Lago resort, was renamed via legislation passed in February by the Republican-controlled Florida legislature and signed into law by onetime Trump rival\u00a0Gov. Ron DeSantis<\/a>.<\/p>\n Palm Beach International Airport in Florida was formally rechristened\u00a0President Donald J. Trump International Airport\u00a0in early July with the commander in chief\u2019s own Boeing 757 making the first landing. ZUMAPRESS.com<\/p>\n Trump has championed unprecedented moves to place his name and image on US coins, paper currency, passports and buildings \u2014 including both the US Institute of Peace and the Kennedy Center, the\u00a0latter of which was reversed following a court order<\/a>.<\/p>\n Last month, United Airlines quietly\u00a0updated a noise policy<\/a> that makes headphone use mandatory<\/a> for passengers listening to content on phones, tablets or anything that makes sound.<\/p>\n United\u2019s Contract of Carriage \u2014 essentially a rules and policy handbook \u2014 was updated to add the new \u201cheadphone language.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve always encouraged customers to use headphones when listening to audio content \u2013 and our Wi-Fi rules already remind customers to use headphones.
