(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 Bakersfield police are searching for a suspect who is accused of robbing a victim of a gold chain during a Facebook Marketplace meeting on Friday, August 7th.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the suspect contacted the victim to meet at the Glenbrook Apartments located at 4840 Planz Road to buy a gold chain. The suspect then ran away with the gold chain, said police. <\/p>\n<p>The suspect wanted for grand theft is described as a male in his late teens, with a thin build. <\/p>\n<p>He was last seen wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants and prescription glasses.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Photo: Bakersfield Police Dept.\" class=\"ImageEmbed_image__qZBo_\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"365\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/9a4ad4bb-2aaf-44d3-bdf4-e25ee79bad28-GCS.jpg\" width=\"648\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Photo: Bakersfield Police Dept.<\/p>\n<p>He is known to live in the area between Planz Road and Appleblossom Drive.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call detective J.
