The restaurant temporarily closed on July 30 after fire damaged the building.<\/p>\n<p>                Emma Hall<\/p>\n<p>            ehall@sacbee.com<\/p>\n<p>Office workers and others accustomed to having their lunch orders filled at Roundhouse Deli will have to wait a while before they\u2019ll be able to grab a tri-tip taco or a hot pastrami.<\/p>\n<p>The Deli\u2019s location at 1914 Alhambra Blvd. in Sacramento closed in late July following a fire<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant\u2019s social media page said the building had significant damage. While there were no injuries, it will take \u201cseveral months\u201d to rebuild, the owners wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Roundhouse Deli will have to go through a lengthy process for insurance, permitting and construction its owners said. In the meantime, they thanked customers for their \u201cpatience, support and understanding.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile we\u2019re disappointed, we\u2019re committed to rebuilding and reopening as soon as it\u2019s safe to do so,\u201d the post read.<\/p>\n<p>The Deli, best known for its smoked meats, has two other locations in the greater Sacramento area.<\/p>\n<p>It opened in the 1970s in Roseville as a women-and-Latino-owned business, according to its website. Its second location is in Elk Grove at 8450 Elk Grove Blvd.<\/p>\n<p>While the Sacramento location undergoes renovation, its other locations will be open Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ll continue to share updates as we make progress,\u201d the owners said online. \u201cThank you for standing by us.
