Gov. Gavin Newsom is sparking a debate on wildfire recovery. He is asking lawmakers to consider limiting who and how much utility companies pay using the state\u2019s wildfire liability fund. <\/p>\n

The fund is set to run out soon, with Southern California Edison expected to use it to pay victims for its role in the Eaton Fire<\/a>. Ashley Zavala speaks with victims, the insurance industry and the candidates running for governor. <\/p>\n

State lawmakers will consider new restrictions on social media companies to limit the impact on kids. Zavala sits down with the author of the legislation, Assembly Member Josh Lowenthal<\/a>. <\/p>\n
