(FOX40.COM) \u2014 Firefighters acted fast Sunday morning to contain a fire that broke out near a chemical manufacturing facility in Sacramento County, fire officials said.<\/p>\n

Just after 11:30 a.m., the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District responded to a reported commercial fire at Am PAC Fine Chemicals, a chemical manufacturing site located at 12295 Hartford Street in Rancho Cordova. Crews arrived to find a grass fire on the chemical plant’s property, the fire district said in a news release.<\/p>\n
Firefighters “quickly” contained the flames, and there was no threat or damage to any of the buildings at the site. A hazardous materials response was initially called because of the nature of the facility near the flames, but it was later cancelled, fire officials said.<\/p>\n
Although more than 15 units were initially sent out in response to the incident, the fire district explained that “additional resources may be dispatched to incidents involving commercial or industrial facilities as a precaution until potential hazards can be evaluated and ruled out.”<\/p>\n
Engineers from the facility confirmed to fire crews that the vapor coming from Am PAC’s buildings was normal steam and unrelated to the fire.<\/p>\n
There are no reported injuries from the fire, according to fire officials.<\/p>\n
