Forward progress has been stopped on the Sorrento Fire that is burning near the canyon between Sorrento Valley Boulevard and Carmel Mountain Road, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.<\/p>\n
There is an evacuation order for zone SDC-1444<\/a>. The temporary evacuation point is at 4161 Eastgate Mall. <\/p>\n Evacuation warnings had been issued for zones SDC-1399, SDC-1400, SDC-1401, SDC-1442, SDC-1443, SDC-1446, SDC-1492 and SDC-1494, but all have since been lifted.<\/p>\n The San Diego Police closed the following roads:<\/p>\n 10800 Vista Sorrento Pkwy<\/p>\n Sorrento Valley Boulevard <\/p>\n Jasmine Crest Lane<\/p>\n Traffic will resume gradually as fire personnel leave, SDPD said in a post to X.<\/a><\/p>\n The fire was first reported at around 1:30 p.m. Sunday.<\/p>\n Around 4:40 p.m., the fire was estimated at 131 acres with a moderate rate of spread.
