(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 A 21-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly stabbing and killing a man Monday afternoon in south Bakersfield.<\/p>\n<p>The Bakersfield Police Department said on Monday, August 17th, 2026, at around 3:30 p.m., officers were called to a home in the 400 block of White Lane for a report of a victim suffering from severe injuries from stab wounds.<\/p>\n<p>Police said emergency medical personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>BPD homicide detectives began investigating and arrested 21-year-old Erionna Russel.<\/p>\n<p>Russel was booked into Kern County Jail for second-degree murder.<\/p>\n<p>Police said Russel and the victim knew each other, and there are no outstanding suspects in this case.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
