There are no limits to what Disney adults<\/a> will spend on the Mouse House \u2014 this past weekend\u2019s D23 convention proved that.<\/p>\n

Proud Mickey Mouse fans professed expensive splurges on Disney memorabilia at the biennial Anaheim convention<\/a>, including pins, backpacks, clothes, stuffed animals and even an animatronic parrot.<\/p>\n

Disney adults are known for their fanaticism for the traditionally kid-friendly brand, which some detractors believe is age-inappropriate. D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, a shuttle ride away from Disneyland, is considered the spiritual center of these adults\u2019 obsession.<\/p>\n

Two fans confessed in a TikTok video to spending an unbelievable sum of $10,000 amid the feel-good, kid-friendly, animated chaos.<\/p>\n

How did they spend what would otherwise be many, many trips to Disneyland?<\/p>\n

\u201cCrocs, D23 marketplace for dolls,\u201d said an adult woman wearing a Deadpool shirt. She \u201cdefinitely\u201d spent over $10,000, the fan said.<\/p>\n

A man wearing a Mickey Mouse-themed vacation shirt confessed to a similar sum: \u201cUpwards of $10,000.\u201d<\/p>\n

He spent the spectacular sum on pins, Pandora jewelry, trading card game Lorcana, shirts, art, and an \u201canimatronic parrot named Joey.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans of Disney merchandise<\/a> at the convention also spoke about spending well over the budget and even dipping into credit card debt.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m five times over my budget,\u201d one woman sheepishly admitted.<\/p>\n

A duffel-bag-toting Disney woman admitted to spending \u201calmost $3,000,\u201d right before a man with a large gray beard held up what he said was a \u201c$1,000 backpack.\u201d<\/p>\n

One TikTok creator even said they spent $1,000 \u2014 just on Disney-themed pins.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe woke up at 6:00 AM & spent over $1,000 for pins at D23! Would you do the same for these?\u201d they asked on the social media platform.<\/p>\n

Disney fanatics will have to wait another two years to empty their wallets at D23.<\/p>\n

But in the meantime, the promised lands for American Disney adults \u2014 Disneyland and Disney World<\/a> \u2014 will still be there.<\/p>\n
