(KGO) &#8212; Police now suspect foul play in the disappearance of a Fairfield woman who has been missing for a month.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Investigators say the search continues for 36-year-old Chantel Brooks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Police said Brooks&#8217; vehicle, a black 2021 Infiniti QX50 SUV with California License Plate 9SBB134, was last detected by a Flock camera in Oakland, but the car has not been located.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Authorities did not elaborate on why they believe foul play may have been involved in Brooks&#8217; disappearance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">However, police said the investigation has included dozens of search warrants, along with drone and ground search efforts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Brooks was last seen leaving a CVS store in Fairfield around 1:45 a.m. on July 17 after she had left her work in San Francisco.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">At the time, she was wearing a brown, multi-colored brimmed hat, a red zip-up sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and brown furry boots.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">The search for Brooks remains ongoing as investigators continue to pursue leads.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 KGO-TV.
