(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 One lane on southbound Highway 99 at the Ming Avenue off-ramp is scheduled to be closed overnight on Thursday, August 20, according to the City of Bakersfield.<\/p>\n<p>The number four (farthest right) lane is set to be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Crews will be removing k-rail, also known as a traffic barrier, along the southbound Highway 99\/Ming Avenue off-ramp.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers in the area should expect delays, use caution, or plan to use alternate routes, said the city.<\/p>\n<p>Construction work may be postponed and rescheduled without notice due to inclement weather and other unforeseen conditions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
