(FOX26) \u2014 A woman has been arrested three weeks after a fatal hit-and-run crash in west Fresno killed a motorcyclist.<\/p>\n<p>The Fresno Police Department responded to a vehicle-versus-motorcycle collision at West Dakota Avenue and North Fruit Avenue around 9:20 p.m. on July 1st.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the motorcyclist was killed and the suspect vehicle, a Buick Enclave, left the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives obtained video showing a side profile of the suspect vehicle as it left the area. <\/p>\n<p>During the investigation, detectives also received a Crime Stoppers tip that provided the name of a possible suspect.<\/p>\n<p>Police said detectives linked the suspect to an Automatic License Plate Reader (ALPR) to confirm the vehicle associated with the driver matched the one seen leaving the scene. <\/p>\n<p>[RELATED] <a href=\"https:\/\/kmph.com\/news\/crime\/man-arrested-for-domestic-violence-false-imprisonment-with-help-from-alpr-cameras-shaw-and-sonora-avenue-automated-license-plate-reader\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">License plate reader cameras help police catch wanted domestic violence suspect in Fresno<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The ALPR hit showed the suspect vehicle parked at an apartment complex, where detectives located it and confirmed it was the vehicle involved in the collision.<\/p>\n<p>With additional follow-up and evidence, detectives obtained a Ramey warrant for suspect Jamie McKenzie. <\/p>\n<p>McKenzie was arrested July 20th and booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges related to the fatal hit-and-run.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"FRESNO, Calif.
