<\/p>\nSan Jose police are investigating a double stabbing that authorities say stemmed from a road rage incident in the Willow Glen area.<\/p>\n
The stabbing was reported before noon Tuesday on Cottle Avenue near Curtner Avenue, according to police. Two men were injured.<\/p>\n
Neighbors said they became aware of the incident as law enforcement activity increased in the area.<\/p>\n
“We did notice some police cars and then more police cars,” neighbor Dave Frizzi said.<\/p>\n
“There were helicopters over. I couldn’t get into my home because, you know, the street was blocked off,” neighbor Christine Nguyen recalled.<\/p>\n

Residents described seeing a large police presence and evidence markers at the scene.<\/p>\n
“There was some sort of road rage incident. So I don’t know what happened,” Nguyen said.<\/p>\n
Police said the two victims did not remain at the reported stabbing location. Instead, officers found them about 1 miles away after they made their way to a fire station seeking help.<\/p>\n
Both victims are expected to recover from their injuries.<\/p>\n
Broadcast radio traffic indicated emergency responders were treating two patients.<\/p>\n

We started a second code three ambulance,” a dispatcher said in radio traffic.<\/p>\n Police have not said whether the victims knew the suspect. When asked, the San Jose Police Department said only that the case remains an active and ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n As of the latest information provided by police, the suspect had fled and had not been arrested.<\/p>\n “This kind of thing doesn’t happen very often. So when the street’s blocked off and there’s nine cop cars, people notice,” Dave said.<\/p>\n For nearby residents, the incident was unsettling. Neighbors said they are hoping more details about what happened will emerge as the investigation continues.<\/p>\n
