BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Probation Department arrested one person on Tuesday for possessing a firearm and drug-related offenses.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Aug. 18, officers with the Kern County Department’s Adult Supervision Division conducted a home call on the 8900 block of Bremerton Court in Bakersfield, the probation department said.<\/p>\n

Law enforcement contacted an additional occupant in the home during the search, who was later identified as Michael Rust, who is prohibited from possessing firearms.<\/p>\n

Officials said multiple handguns, methamphetamine, fentanyl and ammunition were located.<\/p>\n

The KCPD said Rust was arrested on firearm and drug-related offenses.<\/p>\n
