Week 0 is here in the Central Section, which means it is time to make predictions.

The Bee predicted five big games, and will continue to do that.

But this year, every Fresno-area team will also get a prediction (though no scores will be predicted for those games). The team in bold font is the one The Bee predicts to win.

Lemoore at Sanger (Game of the Week): Expect a raucous crowd at Tom Flores Stadium. The future is bright for the Tigers, but the Apaches’ defense might be too much to handle. Sanger 27, Lemoore 13

Immanuel at Central Valley Christian: Huge game in Visalia right out of the gate. This one should be entertaining. Immanuel 24, CVC 21

Dinuba at Redwood: Excellent matchup in Visalia, but the Rangers might have more talent. Redwood 37, Dinuba 20

Golden West at Buchanan: This will be a fun game to watch at Veterans Memorial Stadium, but the Bears might have more firepower. Buchanan 42, Golden West 27

Arroyo Grande at Kingsburg: Interesting game, and a tough place to play. How will the Vikings respond? Arroyo Grande 23, Kingsburg 20
