Alma Y Saz\u00f3n<\/p>\n

A vegan Mexican food business<\/a> inside Emeryville\u2019s Public Market will close after August 30, it announced on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cIt was thanks to the community support and love that our initial 6 month residency at the @lacocinasf<\/a> kiosk turned into 15 beautiful months full of learning, and happy dances every time someone complimented the food,\u201d the post states in part.\u201d The restaurant serves vegan tacos<\/a>, tortas, and drinks, plus vegan tamales during the holidays. Chong Qing Noodles <\/p>\n

An Alameda restaurant spotlighting handmade noodles and dumplings has shuttered. Chong Qing Noodles served beef noodle soup, dumplings in spicy chili oil sauce, cucumber salad, and other Chinese dishes. Bull Tacos will take over that location, according to Alameda Pulse<\/a>. The Coffee Mill <\/p>\n

Last week<\/a>, we shared that The Coffee Mill, a brunch spot near Lake Merritt in Oakland, seemed temporarily closed. Now, it appears like it has shuttered completely, as multiple readers spotted \u201cFor Lease\u201d signs in the windows. The restaurant first opened on Grand Avenue in the mid-1970s and has been owned by the same family for more than 35 years. The Coffee Mill, 3363 Grand Ave., Oakland<\/p>\n

Home of Chicken and Waffles<\/p>\n

A longtime Jack London neighborhood favorite is closing soon<\/a>. Home of Chicken and Waffles, which opened in 2004 in Oakland, will be closing its doors for good at the end of this month. The diner is known for its thin, crispy and buttery waffles, fried chicken, and side dishes such as candied yams, mac n cheese, and greens, as well as other breakfast dishes and entrees. Silver Ocean Chinese Restaurant<\/p>\n
