UFC Sacramento<\/a> is less than 24 hours away \u2026<\/p>\n

It all goes down this weekend (Sat., Aug. 22, 2026), inside Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. In the main event, No. 7-ranked Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight Anthony Hernandez collides against Brazilian killer Gregory Rodrigues in what should be a wild fight.<\/p>\n

Undefeated Heavyweight prospect Anthony Wint makes a quick turnaround for his debut<\/a> against fellow UFC newcomer Terrance Chatman.<\/p>\n

This week, I\u2019m locking in Wint vs. Chatman Under 1.5 Rounds AND to end by KO\/TKO (-150).<\/p>\n

This might be the ultimate squash match if there ever was one.<\/p>\n

I mean, Wint is a whopping -1000 favorite \u2014 the biggest favorite on the entire UFC Sacramento card \u2014 so the oddsmakers clearly agree.<\/p>\n

Frankly, I have no idea how or why Chatman got signed other than UFC desperately needing a Heavyweight on short notice to fight Wint. Yes, the promotion badly needs fresh Heavyweight talent<\/a>, but this is a massive jump in competition for Chatman and feels like a misstep.<\/p>\n

Wint literally earned his UFC contract 11 days ago.<\/p>\n

The former New York Jets linebacker demolished Matt Adams in just 34 seconds on Contender Series<\/a> on Aug. 11 (watch highlights<\/a>), punching his ticket to UFC and improving his professional record to 7-0. Now, he\u2019s immediately being thrown onto UFC Sacramento with an opportunity to make another statement.<\/p>\n

And Wint doesn\u2019t waste much time.<\/p>\n

He owns an 85 percent finish rate with five knockouts and one submission. Even more important for this particular bet, four of his five knockouts have come in less than one minute.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s big, explosive, athletic, and carries legitimate Heavyweight power.<\/p>\n

Chatman (5-1) isn\u2019t exactly a decision machine himself. He owns an 80 percent finish rate with four knockouts and earned his UFC opportunity following a first-round stoppage of Juan Torres, battering him with leg kicks until the referee intervened.<\/p>\n

However, that win came immediately after Chatman suffered the first loss of his professional career.<\/p>\n

This just feels like way too much, too soon.<\/p>\n

Heavyweight isn\u2019t exactly UFC\u2019s deepest division, but that doesn\u2019t automatically mean every regional prospect is ready for the Octagon. Wint looks like a legitimate prospect with the physical tools to make noise. Chatman feels like an opponent UFC needed quickly.<\/p>\n

And when two Heavyweights with a combined nine knockouts start throwing bombs, I don\u2019t expect seven-and-a-half minutes to be necessary.<\/p>\n

Heavyweight MMA is stupid sometimes.<\/p>\n

Wint is making an absurdly quick turnaround after Contender Series, and we\u2019ve barely seen him tested. Chatman also possesses legitimate finishing power of his own, but that\u2019s actually fine for this bet \u2014 as long as it\u2019s a knockout before the midway point of Round 2. The bigger danger is both men respecting each other\u2019s power and producing an unexpectedly cautious fight.<\/p>\n

Give me Wint vs. Chatman Under 1.5 Rounds AND to end by KO\/TKO (-150) as this week\u2019s \u201cWeekend Lock.\u201d<\/p>\n
