Opera San Jos\u00e9\u2019s 43rd season opens in September with a reimagined production of Mozart\u2019s \u201cDon Giovanni,\u201d \u00a0a dark psychological thriller about a wealthy aristocrat spiraling out of control. \u00a0Opera San Jos\u00e9\u2019s production examines the supernatural justice that awaits the title character, who finally pushes too far.<\/p>\n
Internationally renowned tenor Alek Shrader, who directed last season\u2019s \u201cCos\u00ec Fan Tutte,\u201d helms this production, with Opera San Jose Music Director and Principal Conductor Joseph Marcheso leading the orchestra.<\/p>\n
\u201cDon Giovanni\u201d runs Sept. 13-27 at the California Theatre, 345 S.
