uncomfortably staying at Thomas\u2019 small apartment<\/a> \u2014 has also taken its toll on them. On Sunday\u2019s episode, they\u2019re clearly getting on each other\u2019s nerves during what\u2019s supposed to be a romantic dinner just one day before their wedding.<\/p>\nThe two argue right off the bat over Thomas insisting they ride his bike to the restaurant to save money on parking, instead of just driving there. The two argue even while riding the bike.<\/p>\n

Thomas yells at Paula during the bike ride. TLC<\/p>\n
\u201cSometimes I don\u2019t think you are mature enough,\u201d she later tells him at the restaurant, pointing out that she was uncomfortable riding the bike because she\u2019s wearing a dress and that her hair and makeup is now ruined.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is too much,\u201d she continues. \u201cI like adventure, but there\u2019s a certain time for stuff. Sometimes I want to be adult.\u201d<\/p>\n
Thomas smirks in response and says he thought it was a good idea to ride his bike, and corrects her when she asks if it was really worth saving $12 in parking to say that they actually saved $20.<\/p>\n
Paula then gets emotional and says she feels like she\u2019s losing herself, but Thomas accuses her of not wanting to compromise either.<\/p>\n
During dinner, Paula tells Thomas that her being uncomfortable on the bike ride in her dress isn\u2019t worth the money they saved on parking. TLC<\/p>\n
She emotionally tells him that he\u2019s imposing his cheap lifestyle on her. TLC<\/p>\n
Thomas doesn\u2019t appear to take her concerns seriously, until she tells him she\u2019s thinking about going back to Brazil. TLC<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not happy with some of the stuff that you\u2019re doing and some of the requests that you\u2019re making,\u201d he points out. \u201cYou\u2019re very compulsive and you\u2019re very focused on, like, consumerism.\u201d<\/p>\n
Paula admits that with her family visiting her, she wants to go back to Brazil with them because it would be \u201ceasy\u201d for her. Thomas is understandably upset, and says he wanted to hear that she was excited to marry him, not her threatening to go back to Brazil.<\/p>\n
Still, he doesn\u2019t appear to take her seriously and says she just needs a new \u201cchallenge\u201d in life.<\/p>\n
He tells her, \u201cI think your natural instincts are always to do the easiest knee-jerk reaction.\u201d<\/p>\n
Pauls sheds tears over her doubts that she\u2019ll be happy marrying Thomas, and also calls him a \u201cson of a bitch\u201d in Portuguese. TLC<\/p>\n
Thomas is taken aback by Paula\u2019s behavior the night before their wedding and asks her if they should still go through with it. TLC<\/p>\n
Paula replies that she \u201ccan\u2019t,\u201d and tells cameras that she doesn\u2019t want to be stuck in a bad situation with Thomas in the US. TLC<\/p>\n
A fed-up Paula has had enough, and shockingly curses at him in Portuguese.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou are so annoying,\u201d she tells him. \u201cYou\u2019re a son of a bitch. You\u2019re so f\u2013king annoying.\u201d<\/p>\n
After he awkwardly stays silent as she berates him, he wonders if they\u2019re breaking up.<\/p>\n
Thomas questions about their wedding the next day, \u201cI don\u2019t know, are we still doing this?\u201d<\/p>\n
She dramatically replies, \u201cNo. I can\u2019t, I can\u2019t. This is too much.\u201d<\/p>\n
Paula explains to cameras, \u201cI love Tom, but the problem is being stuck unhappy, being stuck in a situation that I don\u2019t want to be.\u201d<\/p>\n
